在此次PlayStation直播節目「State of Play」裡，Sony與CAPCOM、Square Enix公布諸多遊戲新作，同時也確定將更多遊戲內容帶到PlayStation VR2。
目前Sony已經公布PlayStation VR2外觀、控制手把造型，雖然已經透露不少使用特色，但仍有許多細節尚未對外公布。而從目前確定對應PlayStation VR2遊玩的《惡靈古堡8：村莊》實際對應畫面來看，顯示PlayStation VR2將能以更清晰視覺、更直覺互動形式遊玩虛擬實境遊戲內容。
另外，Sony更確認包含《No Man’s Sky》、《The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution》等遊戲都將製作對應PlayStation VR2遊玩版本，在此次更新也釋出《Horizon:Call of the Mountain》實際遊玩影片。
而包含由Private Division旗下Roll7打造的《Rollerdrome》、由Scavengers Studio打造的《Season: a Letter to the Future》，乃至於由Studio Sai打造的《Eternights》都將登上PlayStation 5等平台，日前已經公布的《快打旋風6》、《Final Fantasy XVI》等作品也在此次公布更多內容。
