Intel宣布收購總部位於芬蘭烏爾維拉的顯示技術公司Siru Innovations，藉此強化自身在顯示技術的知識資產。
Siru Innovations團隊成員分別來自AMD、Qualcomm，以及曾在2006年5月被ATI Technologies收購的BitBoys，而共同創辦人Mika Tuomi本身則曾為製作各類PC展示內容的Future Crew成員之一，同時也是BitBoys創立者。
而Mika Tuomi在2011年與前BitBoys員工Mikko Alho創立Siru Innovations，並且由Mikko Alho擔任執行長，業務主要提供低功耗顯示技術。
此次由Intel收購，將會將其技術應用在智慧交通、智慧車輛、遊戲，以及運用圖形加速的超算領域。
