謠傳《FF9》重製版忠於原著、推出於Switch新機但不像《FF7》花大錢

前不久才準確爆料《對馬戰鬼：導演剪輯版》即將登上 Steam 的網友 Silknigth 近日又在在 X（舊稱推特）上爆料他已知的《Final Fantasy IX》重製消息：一是更加忠於原著，二是該重製並不會像《Final Fantasy VII》重製般花費大量經費。

Several people inquire about Final Fantasy IX and what type of game it could be. From what I know, the main idea is a remake as faithful as possible to the original, and definitely much more modest than FF7 in terms of budget.

Silknigth 另指出，原先《Final Fantasy IX》重製應該會出在 Switch 上，但隨著 Switch 可能即將推出新機種，應該也可能於於次世代機種推出性能增強版。最後他表示，他並不指望 Square Enix 在短期內做出任何官方聲明。

近年不斷傳出《Final Fantasy IX》的重製小道消息，而去年 6 月曾有國外團隊 Memoria Project 以 Unreal Engine 5 製作出長達 25 分鐘的《Final Fantasy IX》遊玩影片，精美的畫面與配音接令人讚嘆，不過該團隊表示影片純屬致敬，並不會釋出供大家遊玩以免侵犯 Square Enix 版權。

《Final Fantasy IX》於 2000 年在 PlayStation 平台推出，採用 ATB 即時戰鬥，但整體風格更回歸《Final Fantasy》初期的作品；本作銷售超過 500 萬套，如今玩家也能購買 iOS、Android、Steam 或是 Switch 版本遊玩，也期待 Square Enix 能儘快釋出好消息。
